Traditional ECG equipment, such as Holter monitors with wires and limited monitoring duration, is still widely used in Germany. However, there is increasing focus on improving the detection of atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias using modern solutions like ECG247—especially in cases where symptoms occur irregularly and infrequently.
An important advantage is the improved patient experience. The ECG247 patch allows patients to maintain their normal daily activities, including showering with the sensor, which sets it apart from conventional systems.
ECG247 is currently in use at public hospitals in Lübeck and Bad Oeynhausen, as well as several private cardiology clinics.
