With the launch of new, flexible recording modes, ECG247 can now replace all traditional types of long-term ECG equipment within a single device.

Until now, physicians have had to choose between different tools based on the patient’s symptoms: a Holter monitor for continuous recording, an R-test for automatic event recording over time, or a thumb-ECG for patient-initiated recordings. ECG247 is now launching versatile recording modes that perform all these functions simultaneously.

Three solutions in one sensor

By combining advanced algorithmic technology with user-friendliness, ECG247 now functions as a comprehensive medical «three-in-one» solution:

  • Continuous Recording («Holter Mode»): Complete ECG registration for situations where a full data set is required.

  • Event-based Recording («R-test Mode»): Smart algorithms that automatically detect and store arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, pauses, or tachycardias in real-time.

  • User-initiated Recording («Thumb-ECG Mode»): Patients can manually flag symptoms via the app or the sensor when experiencing palpitations or dizziness. This allows the physician to correlate subjective symptoms with objective ECG findings.

Simpler for the patient – better for the physician

«This is a milestone for ECG247,» says software developer Ahmad Talki. «By having all modes available in one small sensor applied to the chest, the patient avoids heavy equipment and wires, and the physician receives a complete diagnostic picture faster than ever before.»

Streamlining specialist healthcare

With this update, hospitals and general practitioners can standardize their equipment. Instead of managing three different types of hardware and their respective software, the entire spectrum of arrhythmia investigation can now be covered by the ECG247 system.
