ECG247 is introducing a long-awaited feature in the ECG247 portal: the ability to download a complete .CSV file containing all RR intervals from an ECG247 test. This opens up new possibilities for researchers and clinicians to analyze heart rate variability in greater depth.
What Are RR Intervals – and Why Do They Matter?
RR intervals represent the time between two consecutive R-waves in the ECG signal and provide insight into heart rate variability (HRV), rhythm disturbances, and autonomic regulation. With this new export function, you can:
- Perform advanced analyses in research projects
- Visualize heart rate variability over time
- Study stress response, sleep quality, and exercise impact
- Integrate data into your own analysis tools or programming environments
How Does It Work?
After completing an ECG247 test, you can now easily download a .CSV file containing all RR intervals directly from the heart rate tab in the portal. Each row includes a timestamp (in UTC time) and the corresponding RR interval in milliseconds. Please note that the timestamp is provided in UTC and may need to be adjusted to your local time zone – for example, to Central European Time (CET/CEST).
This feature marks an important step in making ECG247 even more relevant for research environments and advanced clinical use.
