Researchers from Bærum Hospital and St. Olavs Hospital, in collaboration with colleagues from Belgium and Australia, conducted a comparative study between ECG247 and implantable loop recorders. The study concluded that ECG247 is highly suitable for evaluating heart rhythm disorders in athletes, successfully detecting all arrhythmias identified by the loop recorders in the study participants.

This study represents another important clinical validation of ECG247. As a more cost-effective and user-friendly alternative to implantable loop recorders, ECG247 has the potential to facilitate faster patient evaluations and help reduce hospital waiting lists.
