We are pleased to roll out an update to the Heart Rate tab in the ECG247 portal. Based on valuable feedback from clinicians, we have developed features that make navigating the portal even easier and more intuitive.

With the updated interface, the transition between the overall trend and the specific ECG strips is completely seamless. These changes are designed specifically to save time in a busy clinical workday, without compromising on diagnostic precision.

What’s New?

  • Zoom Function: You can now zoom in and out of the heart rate trend. Whether you want to view the entire weekly recording at once or study a brief period, the plot adapts instantly for maximum detail and clarity.

  • Arrhythmia Filtering: With the new filter tool in the top-right corner, you can filter the heart rate plot by specific arrhythmias and ectopic beats. You can choose to highlight only relevant events, allowing for a more focused and efficient review.

  • Clear Day/Night Shading: The plot now features integrated visual background shading that alternates between white and grey fields to mark the 24-hour transitions. This makes it very easy to assess the patient’s diurnal variation, observe natural heart rate drops during sleep, and quickly locate nocturnal events.

  • Event Markers in Minimap: The minimap at the very bottom of the screen now displays discrete markers indicating exactly where arrhythmias or other events have been detected throughout the recording period.

  • Last Viewed Position: When you click down into the ECG details and navigate the timeline, a clear marker at the top of the heart rate plot will remember exactly where you left off. You will never lose context and can easily jump back to the previously bookmarked area in the analysis.
