ECG247 er et resultat av mange års forskning innen teknologi og hjertemedisin. ECG247 har omfattende klinisk dokumentasjon av brukervennlighet og nøyaktighet.

ECG247 benyttes i flere forskningsstudier og prosjekter.

Norwegian atrial fibrillation self-screening trial (NORSCREEN)

NORSCREEN studien skal undersøke om egenundersøkelse med ECG247 kan påvise ikke tidligere kjent atrieflimmer slik at deltakerne kan starte behandling og forebygge senere sykdom. Studien skal inkludere 20 000 deltakere over 65 år og følge dem i opptil 5 år via norske helseregistre. Studien utgår fra Oslo universitetssykehus og ledes av professor Sigrun Halvorsen.
