Heart rhythm disorders are a common term for all deviations from the normal heart rhythm (sinus rhythm). Many heart rhythm disorders are harmless, while others require medical treatment. Heart rhythm disorders can cause rapid, slow or irregular heart rhythm.
Cardiac arrhythmia can be experienced as irregular heartbeat, palpitations, dizziness or sometimes as fainting. A frequent heart rhythm disorder is atrial fibrillation. In atrial fibrillation the heart beats irregularly and often too fast. Atrial fibrillation increases the risk of a blood clot forming in the heart. Such a blood clot can follow the large blood vessels to the brain and cause a stroke. An anticoagulant drug can prevent blood clots in atrial fibrillation. Yes. The ECG247 heart sensor records the heart rhythm for analysis. Diagnosis and treatment must be prescribed by a physician.
Please clean the skin over the sternum (middle of the chest). Any hair must be removed. Do not use moisturizer. The skin must be completely dry before the sensor is attached.

Check that you have followed the User Guide. Sensor must be connected to the electrode patch and the sensor must be light blue before connecting. Check that Bluetooth is enabled for ECG247 in your phone’s settings and that you answered “Yes” to the question of allowing for Bluetooth connectivity. If this does not allow for connecting to the sensor, delete and re-install the ECG247 app. If the issue persists, follow the same procedure on another smart phone.
The sensor should be attached to the center of the chest with the sensor part up.
The ECG247 system automatically detects all common cardiac arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia and pauses. In addition, the system also detects extrasystoles and sinus arrhythmia.
Electrical noise can affect the automatic interpretation and lead to misclassification. All rhythm disorders must therefore be confirmed by a physician. You can easily order a cardiologist assessment in the online store or you can share the recording with your GP.
The heart signals have different shapes and sizes in different people. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that the ECG247 system will detect all rhythm disorders. All use is at your own risk.

We recommend using the sensor for at least 3 days. You can stop the test at any time, but the shorter the test period lasts, the less heart rhythm recording there is to analyze. It is up to you as the user to decide the duration of the test. The sensor will automatically stop collecting data after 14 days
Some types of clothing, such as technical exercise clothing over the sensor, may interfere with the recording. This is seen as “noise” in the ECG view in the app, but is not dangerous. The problem usually disappear after a short period of time. Exercise involving the use of the arm and chest muscles can also interfere with the recordings, but the signals usually return to normal after exercise. Such disturbances may cause the rhythm indicator to change color and indicate that a possible rhythm disturbance has been identified. In such cases, the app’s rhythm indicator can be reset by stopping the test and then starting a new test without removing the sensor.
Yes, reattach it in the same way as when you started the test. It is important that the arrow points to the closed lock symbol. The test continues automatically when the sensor is reconnected. If this does not happen, you can stop the test in the app and then start another test without removing the electrode patch.
Yes, you can save a recording of your heart rhythm at a specific time by briefly pressing the button in the center of the sensor.
